The Learning Management System [LMS] manages and makes the delivery of Web-Based-Courses to Learners. The Web-Based-Courses must conform to SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 standard. The MVS Learning Management System can perform the below functions: Manage Users: Users will be of three kinds. They are Administrator, Manager and Learner. The Administrator and Managers can Create & Edit Learners in the Groups that they control. Manage Groups: The LMS Administrator can only create the Groups and assign to Manager. More than one Group can be assigned to a Manager, if a Group is already assigned to a Manager then the same Group cannot be assigned to another Manager. Manage Courses: The LMS Administrator can upload the SCORM Course packages along with the course description. The Administrator can able to set the course as Active or Inactive. If the course is Active then it can be assigned to Learners either by Administrator or Manager. The assigned courses will be available on the Learner Catalog.
